2nd International Turkish Open Kickboxing Tournament was held in Antalya on 6-9 April 2016. The tournament consists of Point Fighting, Light Contact, Full Contact, Low Kick, Kick Light disciplines. The tournament had approximately 1200 participants from 14 countries including 700 athletes. The tournament which was held in Antalya Kepez Turgut Özel Spors Hall attracted a lot of attention. Although it was the first edition of the tournament, it was very succssful and t was apreciated by the participants. It was proven that kickboxing events in Turkey can be conducted without any problems such as security.
In Karlovac in the period from 12th to 14th February 2017., it was held 4. European Cup „ Karovac Open “ 2017, with a record number of 2,064 applications and more then 1.200 competitors, from 187 clubs and 28 countries form Europa, Asia and Africa. Although it was expected around 1500-1700 competitors, the last day of registration number stopped at 2064 !!!
The European Cup was sponsored by the SAP fighting tribe, and it was under patronage of President of the Republic of Croatia, the State Office for Sport, Croatian Kickboxing Federation, Karlovac County, the City of Karlovac and the Croatian Institute for Toxicology and anti-doping.
On the first day of competition, in Friday, 12.2. the schedule was a competition in musical form and Grand Champion in the discipline Points fighting, individual and team, and after that the night show, "Super Fight" on which he was 8 fight in amateur kickboxing, of which 6 in the discipline Ful Contact, one in discipline Low Kick, and one in the K-1 Rules. In these 8 fight featured representatives from 11 countries and have fought for the winning champion belts.
Special guest of the evening was Branko Cikatić, who 15 years ago helped to organizer of European Cup Karlovac Open, Mr. Zoran Cicvara, to open the club Kickboxing Club Tiger Karlovac. Branko was first fighter in the World who win in Tokyo 1993. On first K-1 tournament. After the main evening match in K-1, Branko was awarded the belt to the winner of Israel, Loay Sakas.
The whole European Cup was the Live Stream, and watched in more than 50 countries in Europe and worldwide. Sports TV (Croatian Olympic Committee), has repeatedly aired amateur Super Fight event, which this interesting sport further closer to all interested parties.

The second day of the European Cup in Karlovac began with the opening, with Karlovac civil guard and majorettes, the competition was opened by the President of the City Council of Karlovac Mr. Damir Mandic.
On the schedule are subsequently were fighting in the ring fighting in full contact, and on the mat in the discipline Points fighting, which lasted the whole day.
The third day of the schedule were fighting in two rings, in a discipline in low kick and the second in the K-1, while the 7-tatami combat took place in light contact and Kick Light.
This European Cup is biggest and strongest competition in this part of Europe, because it was 1.500 starts from other countryes and only 500 starts from Croatia....
According to reports most were Croats 530, then 439 Hungarians,176 Slovenian, 164 Italians, 101 Austrians, 100 Czechs, 77 Bulgarians, 61 Israelis, 60 of Bosnia and Herzegovina and so on ....

The most successful clubs from Croatian by the number of medals are traditionally host Kickboxing Club Tiger Karlovac, coach Zoran Cicvara (11 gold) and Kickboxing Club Susak from Rijeka, coach Branko Fibinger (8 gold), while the third positioned Kickboxing Club Marjan 1975 coach Peter Mijića from Split.

The international WAKO tournament „GRAND PRIX BIH 2017“ " took place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina last weekend. Great number of 541 fighters from 71 clubs representing 7 countries participated this time. Many thanks to Promoter of kicboxing academy “Ilidža“ Mr. Nermin Bašović for his great job.

The 14th Athens Challenge Tournament took place 04 -05 February 2017 at the Olympic Wrestling Arena in Ano Liossia.
Organized in association with WAKO and the PAN-HELLENIC FEDERATION OF KICKBOXING “POK", Athens Challenge Tournament is without a doubt the biggest Kickboxing event in Greece.
Athens Challenge Tournament is one of the top 5 Kickboxing events across Europe where each year athletes compete in Kickboxing disciplines: Point Fighting, Light Contact, Kick Light, Low Kick, forms hard style, soft style, weapons and in Self-defense.
This edition 2017 brought over 1220 European athletes from 12 countries such as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Russian Federation, Spain, United Kingdom, Georgia who were competing in 2151 entries. Only Greece had more than 1400 entries. The second in entries was Italy ( 271) and Bulgaria (137).
Over 27 international referees from across Europe travel to Athens each year for the needs of Athens Challenge Tournament where along with 28 Greek referees they guarantee another successful event. The competition was going on 11 tatami areas and on one ring for low kick.
The main sponsor of the 14th Athens Challenge Tournament was VODAFONE and sponsors were Zaros, Dole, Kayak and Loukakos.
Medical sponsor was Latriko hospital.

An interesting fact is that in category Point fighting kids 8-10 years had the numerous entries: 84, from 23 clubs and category kick light kids 8-10 years had 45 entries from 16 clubs.
Light contact in the category of that age had 36 entries from 14 clubs. These were the largest categories from all at the tournament.
Among seniors, the largest category was Point fighting seniors male -69kg where we had 18 competitors and the best was Scherbakov Viacheslav from CSKA Moscow, Russia. In Open male, there were 29 competitors in really tough concurrence.
Female open had 20 girls hungry for glory, and the best was Nagy Henrietta from Kiraly Team Hungary.
The finals in Team male seniors was the best performance on the tournament, where two teams: Ikaros from Greece (Adamis, Galanopoulou, Soueref, Zagaris) and Kiraly team from Hungary (Gombos, Jaroszkievicz, Morady, Nagy) demonstrated the battle of titans, with perfect techniques, the speed with much of adrenalin.
